This is a good 'everyday' mattress for people on a budget, yet don't want to scrimp on quality. The individually pocket spring unit stops 'jiggle' and the transference of movement from one partner to another. The support is good for everyday use, the quality will last and this is the best mattress you can get for the price, not to mention the outstanding characteristics of the organic fillers and the no chemical natural fire retardant used in the 100% cotton mattress cover.

If you are looking for sports firmness and support and are quite fit, you should consider moving up to the Organic 2000 or 4000 firm mattresses; 'good stuff' for active fit people. The medium-firm version of the 2000 Organic is great for an added amount of comfort with a spring unit that responds even better to your body shape over the years. If Uber comfort is required, the Organic 6000 is worth considering.

The GOTS certified British wool we use maintains perfect flexibility within the wool fibres so that the strands bounce back again and again, crucial to enhancing the properties of wool helping it to:

  • Wick away moisture, removing heat when you're hot and insulating you when you're cold
  • Reduce the moisture held in your mattress, vastly increasing the healthy air and creating a micro mould free internal environment
  • Completely deters dust mites from being in, or breeding on the organic wool, reducing asthma and allergies
  • Naturally resistant to bacteria and fungus growth

Most manufacturers will not use organic wool because of the inhibitive cost; especially as it is much harder to machine, prepare and manage, but we know its well worth it!

When purchasing a natural mattress with no foams, rubber or latex materials inside, one is confronted with a brand ew smell. Instead of it being the scent of glue, rubber, or foam, this mattress will smell of a beautiful field with horses. The smell dissipates quickly and poses absolutely no harm from 'forever chemicals' found in man made foams, chemical fire retardant sprays, rubber, latex, glue and so on..

All of the wool within our mattresses is from British sheep and has been GOTS certified!

This mattress is single sided making it more lightweight and easier to rotate from time to time rather than needing to turn it over.
